Agreement

These Developer Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service when you create a studio on playafk.com. You accept them for yourself and for the studio you represent, and confirm you may bind it.

Your game and the license you give us

You keep all rights in your game. You give Makera Games [legal entity name to confirm] a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, cache, display and run each build you submit on PlayAFK and its apps, and to use its name, thumbnail and short gameplay clips to promote it, until you remove it.

You confirm you own or are licensed to use everything in your game (code, art, music, fonts, trademarks) and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

Review and launch

• New studios are approved by us before their first submission.
• Every build is checked automatically and played by a person before it goes live. We may approve, ask for changes or decline at our discretion.
• Approved games launch as a basic release. We may promote games to a full launch, feature them, or move them back, based on player data and quality.
• Games must use the PlayAFK SDK to report gameplay; play counts and revenue are based on it.

Content rules

Players can be as young as 13. Games must not contain: sexual content or nudity; graphic violence or gore; hate, harassment or discrimination; real-money gambling or loot boxes purchasable with money; promotion of drugs, alcohol or weapons; malware, crypto-mining, trackers or fingerprinting; links that take players off the site without a click; collection of personal data outside the SDK; or impersonation of other games or brands.

Games run in a sandbox on a separate domain. Do not try to break out of it, read player data, or interfere with the site or other games.

Revenue share

When advertising is live on PlayAFK, you earn the revenue share shown in your studio (60% by default) of net ad revenue attributed to your game, after payment-provider fees and invalid-traffic deductions. Payouts are monthly once the minimum payout is reached and you have completed tax and payout details. We publish the attribution rules in the developer portal and may adjust them with 30 days' notice.

Removal and suspension

You can remove a game at any time; it disappears within a few days and player saves are deleted. We may suspend or remove a game or studio that breaks these terms, harms players, receives valid copyright complaints (see the DMCA page) or is abandoned and broken. Where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.

Responsibility

You are responsible for your game and its compliance with law, including consumer, privacy and export rules. You will indemnify Makera Games [legal entity name to confirm] against claims arising from your game. Our liability to you is limited as described in the Terms of Service.
